- Shouldn't your description of how sports stars are selling
- their autographs (SPORT, May 15) have appeared in the Business
- section? There is something slightly sleazy about a ballplayer's
- charging for his signature. And as for Joe DiMaggio's $30 price
- tag, say it ain't so, Joe.

- If the majority of fans waiting in line for their favorite
- players' autographs are children, as your writer says, then from
- what I've seen, we are raising a generation of rather large,
- gray-haired and balding kids with age lines on their faces.
